Annie Mac – vocals
Also an accomplished keyboard player, Annie brings powerful vocals
and a wealth of solo and band experience in both recording and live
performance. She has been lead vocalist in several original, covers
and corporate function bands and in the 90’s formed Australia’s
premier Eurythmics tribute band, ‘Neurythmics’. With
Neurythmics, she appeared at many of Melbourne’s larger venues,
such as Billboard and The Palace, enjoying a large ‘cult’
following and was featured (including an interview) on Channel 9’s
‘The Ray Martin Show’. After a stint in the UK working
on a solo project, Annie returned to Oz joining popular covers band
‘Revolution’ and forming corporate band ‘Cocos
Groovus’.
A true 80’s addict, with 80’s On the Edge, Annie covers
the styles and power of the great New Wave pop divas.

When Loz moved to Melbourne, Perth lost the ‘IT’ girl
of session vocalists. Laurene has over 16 years of professional
singing experience -both live and recording. Not only a world-class
live performer, both visually and vocally, Loz is also a capable
saxophonist. Experienced in corporate, cover and original bands,
Laurene is also a published songwriter.
She has toured both nationally and internationally as well as providing

Toyota and Oz Lotto.
Peter Robinson - vocals, acoustic guitar and bass
Peter’s list of musical credits is the envy of most musos
in town, having been involved as either a band member/leader, song-writer,
record producer, arranger, educator, and musical director for literally
the who’s who of the Australian pop and TV scene. He has arranged,
produced and/or performed on over 50 charted hits for such major
Australian artists as: John Farnham, Russell Morris, Ted Mulry,
Johnny O'Keefe, to name only a few, and has written songs, performed

for whom he co-wrote her successful crossover country hit "Home
Ain't Home Any More" (the flip side of “I Honestly Love
You “).
Pete has been a member of some of Australia’s great hit producing
bands including ‘The Strangers’, ‘The Seekers’,
‘The Thunderbirds’ and has more recently continued his
involvement with live performance with ’concept’ bands

Substitutes’ (60’s Pop tribute). Pete has his own cult
following!!
Pete’s love for great music, vocals and harmonies, plus his
wealth of experience and involvement with so many successful musical
projects, puts that ‘quality edge’ on 80’s On
the Edge.
Bud N – vocals and guitar
Starting at an early age as drummer in a band playing 60’s
covers, Bud has since been a member of popular covers, jazz, fusion
and latin bands, performing alongside some of Melbourne’s
elite musicians. In 1993, he took up the drummer chair in pop-reggae
outfit, ‘White Man Can’t Reggae’ - a band that
enjoyed a tremendous local, Australia-wide and international following
-successfully touring, writing and recording with the band for many
years until the beginning of 2010. More recently involved as guitarist-percussionist
with several acts, Bud formed 80’s On the Edge. “Forming
80’s On the Edge with these great musicians gives me the opportunity
to perform this wonderful material by some of my favourite artists
of the 70s and 80s”.
Dave Snapp / Nigel Davis – drums
Dave hails from the US and honed his skills studying with some of
the legends of rock over there and playing a variety of styles in
bands. Since his arrival in Oz, he’s primarily taken on the
role of ‘hired gun’ as a fill-in player for some of
Melbourne’s premier corporate bands.
Nigel’s reputation is well known in the Melbourne music scene.
Having held the drum chair in several top covers bands over the
years, he currently performs with Scarecrow, Rusty Nails, White
Man Can’t Reggae and is also doing the occasional session.
Dave and Nigel share the drum seat with 80’s On the Edge,
each bringing the drive and skills required put the final touch
on our high-energy the outfit.
